In an addition to many events and fundraisers that support the overall budget and ministry of our church, we are thankful to be able to do an annual benefit (or mission trip) that goes directly to a local (or regional) cause, non-profit, or other charity that helps people in need. This is in addition to other work that our church does for people in need, such as partnerships with our local food pantry and human services. Below you can read about recent years’ events and the organizations we have supported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2026 Mission Trip: <\/strong> We will be returning to our same mission from 2025 – it was such a meaningful experience that everyone wanted to return!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2025 Mission Trip: <\/strong> During the first week of August, we worked with Mission at the Eastward in Farmington, Maine! We restored homes for people in need in the greater Farmington region. We stayed at the Farmington Conference Center. 33 people attended the trip, 19 were youth. It was a wonderful experience! We are planning a return trip in August of 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2024 Mission Trip: <\/strong> A Mission Trip to Mayfield, Kentucky to help restore homes that were damaged in a tornado in 2021. At least 3 more years of work is still needed to recover from the storm. We took a group of 22 on the trip and were able to do work on several homes during a week in late June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2023 Benefit: We raised $4,091!<\/strong> We supported Plymouth Parks & Rec with a fundraiser dance. $25\/ticket. It was Saturday, October 21 from 6pm to 10pm at the Lyceum. Funds raised will create a fund to help families in need register their children for sports and other parks & rec programming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you to everyone who supported our 2022 Benefit which supported local veterans through the Veterans Strong Community Center! We raised $5,910.90! We will soon announce our 2023 Charity Benefit!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our 4th Annual Benefit Event was Saturday, October 15, 2022. 10am-4pm and included live auction, vendors, food, music, and silent auction!\u00a0 We <\/span>supported our local veterans’ resource and support center which is Veterans Strong Community Center in Bristol!<\/a><\/h4>\n

Thank you to everyone who helped with our 2017, 2018, and 2019 fundraising events!<\/span><\/h4>\n

(Benefit events were not held in 2020 and 2021 due to Covid-19)<\/p>\n

2017: we raised $5,105.13 for the Connecticut Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association! <\/span><\/h4>\n

2018:\u00a0 We raised $7,582.28 for Smilow Cancer Hospital (for both New Haven & Waterbury locations).<\/span><\/h4>\n

2019 event (pictured below)<\/span>. On Dec. 7, 2019 we presented a check to Connecticut Children’s for $3,654.37!<\/span><\/h4>\n
